SL books is Denmark's leading academic bookshop, one of the leading suppliers of books for business. We have operated bookstore and publishing for more than 40 years and our knowledge of books is extensive. All our employees are always up to date with what is happening on the book in both Denmark and abroad.
Our customers are primarily students, teachers and employees in industry. Our professional profile, and our presence at several universities, doing that we can always provide all the literature curriculum for the students and the latest books on business.

Ownership
SL books are a part of SL Fund.
SL Fund is a foundation. Profit in the company, not used for consolidation, channeled back to students through price reductions, improved service in stores or to support student social purposes.
A little story about our shops
The company was founded in 1967 by students at CBS (Copenhagen Business School). The Fund has from the outset had a clear focus on the primary customers, the students. Through the years we have developed this focus, strengthen our professional skills and expanded our presence at several universities.
Since SL fund under the name Samfundslitteratur opened his first shop at CBS in 1967, we have expanded the activity with more shops and its own publishing house. In 1991 we moved our first addition to CBS's framework and opened the shop at RUC. In 2004 we took over the bookshop at the former Royal. Veterinary and Agricultural University, in 2009 we took the Academic Bookstore for a further four shops at Copenhagen University.
SL Fund operates today a total of eight stores and serves a wide range of studies and higher education in Australia. Our professional breadth is extensive and span the social sciences, IT, humanities, education, science and medicine.
E-handel
In 1999 we opened our online bookstore. On slbooks.dk you can choose from several million titles and find the book list for many of the studies we serve. During 2009, we will provide the range with a wide range of e-books.
Publishers
SL Fund also operates a variety of academic publishers. The flagship is Samfundslitteratur with a focus on the good academic textbook. To famllien also includes Roskilde University Press Biofolia (science) News from Samfundsvidenskaberne and CBS Press.
